I've been meaning to write about our vacation, but I have so much I want to say that I haven't had the time to sit and sort through it in my head.
So here's the short, less detailed story.
AJ: Thank you. Thanks. Thankyouthankyouthankyou. No, really. This is why I love you so much. I had a wonderful time because of you. You're the man.
Grandma and Grandpa: Grand. Just grand. That pretty much says it without turning this into a loooong post... if in fifty years we were like them, I wouldn't mind a bit.
Anna: Glowing. Happy. Like a sister. The one person that laughs with me when everyone else is shaking their heads like we're idiots. We think the same. She manages to make me feel like I'm eight again. Is that good or bad?... I don't know.
Dad: On cloud nine with the kids. I love watching him with them. I love how he just sits and watches... and smiles. Content. Soaking it up. He loves my kids. He thinks they're the cat's meow. This I know.
Calvin: What can I say? He's the baby. He has a good heart. I love him. A lot.
Brodey came with. We had our sweet kinda-camper. We've dubbed it 'the sleeper'... cause it looks ghetto on the outside, then you go in and think, "Hey, this ain't so bad."
The kids had a great time. Kaylen got to be with my family. I saw aunts, uncles, and cousins that I hadn't seen in years. Met some new additions to the family.
It was sweet.
Pretty stinking sweet.
