Good morning merry sunshine! Oh yes, all you peoples too.
I wake up to these messy curls and baby blues every morning. Aren't I a lucky girl?
This is 'the face'. She has her mama's nose.
My dad always said that if I kept wrinkling my nose it would stay that way. It didn't.

That sweet face... be still my heart.

These were taken at 8:30-ish in the morning in front of the sliding glass door in my kitchen.
I take a lot of pictures there. I guess I should branch out a little.
My equipment:
Nikon D3100
Nikkor 50mm G lens
Project M (manual mode) is about getting away from automatic settings and learning to use the manual mode on your camera. In manual mode, you have complete control over aperture (F-stop), shutter speed, and ISO.
Here's the rules
1. Pictures must be taken in manual mode. Hello, Captain Obvious.
2. Pictures may NOT be edited. They must be SOOC (straight out of the camera).
If you don't know how to go about choosing which settings to use, read this article.
Same as everything else... the more you practice, the better you'll get.
I'm thinking about doing a weekly link-up party for those of us wanting more practice using manual mode (you would need to own a camera with a manual mode option).
I thought it would be fun to see everyone's progress and pictures and maybe challenge ourselves to try harder and learn something in the process.
But I'd need people to participate, so me know what you think... vote in the poll on the sidebar.
